For moms that are exclusively pumping and bottle feeding, how many ounces total do you get in one pumping session?

At first I pumped hardly at all, but when I got the hang of it and I started producing more I would make about 3/4 ounces per breast. But I over pumped and stimulated my breast for fear of not making enough, and I would pump every 30 min at first. So my milk production became out of line with what my baby actually needed. I was a working mom and was so paranoid my baby wouldn’t have enough.

My first pump of the morning I generally get about 12 oz because I go around 7 hours without pumping. Then it ranges about 3-4 oz a session. I generally pump every 2-3 hours.

I pump every 3- 3 1/2 hours and get anywhere from 6-8 ounces. I mainly average about 6-7 each time though. If I go more 4 hours, I can get close to 8 ounces but don’t like to do that as my almost 4 week old baby is only drinking about 2-2.5 ounces per feed. I freeze quite a bit. We have a deep freezer than we store it in. I had to exclusively pump with my first born and for our second son, I have to too.
