I’ve heard people say it’s “tacky” unless it’s your first pregnancy, that’s the only thing keeping me unsure. I don’t know if it’s fair to ask my friends and family for gifts every time I have a baby, but in all fairness my twins are 11 now so it’s been a long time and I have some new friends 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

It’s our first baby, so I’ll totally be having one. I want to celebrate this journey (oh and how it’s been one!) with my friends and community. So what if I’m pushing 40?
I imagine it’ll look different than if I had a shower in my 20s, but that’s good, I’m not the same person and my needs are different.

My family lives across the country... if i went back for a shower, i know that despite the request for no gifts at shower, people will bring them and then ill have to pay to ship them all back to Colorado. Id be ok with a nice luncheon at my mons house but really don’t want to open gifts

I did an amazon registry and my friend and family purchased every single item. We are dual military so it was the most convenient. My job threw me a surprised diaper party too. 💙

Im totally having a baby shower...we’ll i want my mom to throw me a baby shower lol she had fun hosting my bridal shower & i cant imagine her not wanting to do one for her first grandchild.
