Repeat VBAC or C section?

Question

For moms who have had a c section and a VBAC, which would you opt for on a third time? A repeat vaginal birth or repeat c section? Feel free to comment why and personal experiences.

I havent had a vbac, but I’ve had 2 c sections and am having my 3rd in Aug. . . My opinion: emergency c sections suck. Planned, so easy! . . And call me weird, but I like being in the hospital longer! They bring me hot meals, close family and friends come see you, my milk comes in while I’m there which is super nice to have the hospital grade pumps, nurses help, etc. . Also i love my kids, but it’s nice to have someone help you with them while you’re adjusting to new baby and healing and 4 days of that is much better than 2. . . I guess im weird though because people say, “I got to home early” and I’m like, “why?!”

I’ve had a c-section twice, and I would opt to have a safe delivery for my next weekend pregnancy. 
If my doctors feel that another c-section would be safe for baby and myself, then cut me open again 🤷🏻‍♀️

My mom had csection with my sister (her first baby) and had vaginal the rest of us. My sisters head was tilted so she was coming out ear first. But she never had any complications with me, or my other 3 siblings.

As someone who's had a csection, I never want one again. I had nightmares for months and months afterwards. It was such a traumatic experience for me that I have a heightened fear of hospitals. I had a fear before, but its even greater and more intense. One of the many reasons I never want to be pregnant again. That all being said, whatever is safest for the child and mother. Chances are if someone has had a successful VBAC, they can have one again, but after a second csection there's no going back. You'd need another csection.

I did just about everything to avoid the last c section I had, but my baby stayed transverse and it had to be done. It was my second c section, the first with my twins, then I did a VBAC with my daughter. In my opinion, vaginal delivery is 100% better. Recovery is so much better, you get to go home sooner, and you have the option to avoid anesthesia, which I prefer since I'm afraid of it. C sections are a major surgery, the risks are just higher, and the healing process after is longer. I personally would never get a c section unless it was medically necessary, which it was in both of my cases.
