Is cramping normal at 5/6 weeks?

I got my BFP 5 days ago and I have a doctors appointment in 4 days. But I've been having cramping off and on kind of like period cramps. No bleeding or anything though. I feel like I'm just freaking myself out. Is it normal to cramp? Thanks!

Yes! Your body is gonna go through lots of changes. The cramps are probably your uterus starting to expand. It might seem early, but you have to remember that you’re starting out with an organ around the size of a pear! I wouldn’t worry about light cramping, but if it gets worse out of the blue or there’s bleeding accompanying it, then I’d see your OB ASAP! :)
