3 days old cluster feeding?

Does this look normal? It’s our 2nd night home. It’s now 12:20 and I feel like he’s basically been eating non stop since 9:30 😭 I’m so tired

That's exactly what my girl did the first few days after we got home. I spent alot of time crying because I thought I wasn't producing enough for her. Its completely normal it's to help your milk come in it's just extremely exhausting and unnerving to deal with. It'll happen anytime there's a major growth spurt as well so be prepared for it to happen again unfortunately

Has your milk come in? Or just colostrum? He is telling your body how much to make, it is totally normally - if not a bit frustrating/tiring. You aren't meant to have enough yet - but he is stimulating you to make what he needs

Our pediatrician told us that as long as there are wet and poopy diapers then that’s a sign that the baby is feeding and that they’re cluster feeding. On day three, they’re supposed to have at least 3 wet diapers so I think you’re doing well. Your baby is telling your body how much milk to make.

My little one was very similar to this. I got an app called Huckleberry that allows you to track feedings, diaper changes, pumping, and naps. It's been a life saver!

My baby was a little worse than that, i used to stay up crying the first few days. I slept 5 hours total In 3 Days.
