TMI!! Painful sex

So this morning me and my hubby were having sex. Well it hurt. It didn't hurt my vagina but it felt like he was going to far like he was hitting something and it hurt enough to make me say alright stop i cant do this anymore. Any ideas what it could be? Or has anyone else experienced this before?
