He wakes me up 6 times a night and won't go to sleep unless he gets ANOTHER bottle

I have this trouble with my son. He wakes up constantly (he does have reflux though so I've put it down to drinking because he's in pain) I got told to reduce the oz's he has by the dietician but sometimes he doesn't want a bottle so I'll just lie him on my chest and he'll settle back off again

Sleep train. He should be sleeping through the night by now, usually at 6 months. It was difficult but honestly I was actually shocked how quickly my son got into the new routine bc that kid is a friggin food feind.. literally im not exaggerating. It will be difficult but you have to let him cry. Hes not in any pain and if hes eating well throughout the day he probably shouldnt even be eating so much. If you feel the need, offer him a bottle of just water, that really helped. I cant believe you have lasted this long waking up so much in the night... you need your rest girl and so does he! There are different methods to sleep train, lots of articles. Good Luck!

1-2 night feeds are still normal at 8 months but it sounds like you need to sleep train. If he can’t fall asleep independently he will keep relying on the bottle to get back to sleep.

How many ounces is he drinking each time?

We gave our son a pacifier to help sooth him. We’d do it for a half hour (or however long he’d sleep) and then feed him. Then the next night we’d add another half hour or so. Eventually the night feed was pushed so far back it just became breakfast.
