How long to get AF after D&C?

I had a D&C on June 3rd, had a bit of blood consistently since but today I’m bleeding more. Is it possible to already have AF? I doubt it but just checking.

I found I got my period once my hcg levels returned to 0, which was 21 days after D&C.  D&C forces a hormonal change, so your cycle may be out of whack for a little while :-)

I had a D&C on May 20th...I had spotting the whole time up until last week where it stopped for 2 days then cane back for a day and I haven’t had any since. They say you should get your period back 4-6 weeks after.

I had a heavier bleeding 2-3 days after D&C and was told my OBGYN that it’s pretty normal to bleed more a few days post op. After that, bleeding became less and less and turned into brown discharge and finally stopped 2 weeks after. Fingers crossed that yours won’t be that long!! It’s a very tiring process...
