Cefuroxime antibiotic and breastfeeding 😱
Has anyone taking the cefuroxime 500mg while breastfeeding? I had infection In my incision and was put on different antibiotics this week. I just started taking it today. I hate taking medicine unless it’s really needed. I heard it passes through the milk but I don’t know what it will do to baby. I will ask lactation consultant tomorrow. I don’t want to stop breastfeeding but I’m scared for my 3 week old.
