Pain near epidural site?

Hey mamas,
Does anyone who had an epidural have lingering back pain around the site? I had to have two epidurals (because the first one was done incorrectly and didn’t work 😑), and ever since delivery I’ve had on and off soreness around that area. It’s not severe, but its certainly uncomfortable at times. Kind of feels like a sharp bruise pain, if that makes sense. 
Just curious as to how common this seems to be. Thanks!

I have a little bit as well. Kind of feels more like a bruise,  or super painful but definitely there.

That’s why i didn’t have an epidural with my second two kids. My first i had bad pains for almost a year off an on from it. Even now i feel my back isn’t the same. It really made a huge difference not having an epidural with the pain afterwards. Now back pain is definitely common with or without the epidural. Especially my 3rd i was induced so i had so strong intense contractions. My muscles in my back and stomach were sore for 2 months. I don’t know if many a chiropractor might be able to help with the pain and try and relieve it some. But i would definitely look into it.

Yes! I am 11 weeks PP and have the same exact pain you described. I had an epidural and spinal blocked. The weird thing is that this pain didn’t start until about 9 weeks PP so I find that very odd. 🤔

I’m almost 14 weeks postpartum and I still have this. Mainly just when I’ve been standing at work all day, towards the end of my 9 hour shift I’ll feel pain in my lower back from it .

Yes! I had it, it went away for me about 8 weeks po!
