I want to know what somewhat means, being racist is a yes or no question, I don’t think there’s such thing as an in between option

The only reason I answered yes is that I think that everyone is a little bit racist. We all live in an EXTREMELY racist society and therefore no one is unimpacted by the subconscious racism embedded in our media and culture. I am not A racist, and I don’t think growing up in a racist society is an excuse for being racist, just to be clear. I mean that everyone is racist and that as humans everyone is capable of making the conscious choice of not saying everything we think and that we have the ability to correct our initial reactions to things. We all have an obligation to correct our subconscious reactions and thoughts and not demonstrate or say things that are racist.
I don’t know how well I explained myself, but please ask if you are confused by what I mean.

What the heck? No! I’ve experienced so much racism in my 16 years of life. Whoever is racist is a disgusting human being and has no idea how much racism effects people. If you’re a racist, I want nothing to do with you, and I hope you rot in hell. Idiots

I can be a little racist towards White police men being scared of them and all but I’m somewhat racist 🤷🏾‍♀️

I said yes because I still get uncomfortable around a group of men of a different race. I was taught to. I’m working on it though.

I'd like to think I'm not racist,  I certainly dont hold obviously racist views, but I'm a white woman and am aware of the privilege that gives me. I answered somewhat because I'm sure there are times when I've unconsciously acted in a way that could be hurtful.

I'm from the south and I've been around racism all my life. It's hard not to discriminate against those who discriminate against you. Over time I've found myself labelling certain white people & even other minorities as racist and/or other names. It's learned behaviors & I know I shouldn't.
