Someone help!! I was listening to baby’s heartbeat this morning and heard what sounds like 2 different heartbeats?? Both very fast and obviously neither are my heartbeat. Hopefully you can hear the difference like I can!! Can someone explain this to me??

Is this just hearing the heartbeat from two different angles?? Or is there a second baby in there that’s been hiding at every ultrasound?? Mildly freaking out 😂

The first one is definitely baby's heartbeat (will sound like a galloping horse) and I'm pretty sure the second one is the placenta, which will have more of a whooshing sound. Definitely just one baby! 😊

I have one just like it and had trouble at first. Now it’s easier since the baby stays in one spot for now lol.

I just bought the exact same machine and noticed that same issue yesterday! I moved the handle from one side of my stomach to the other and the heart rate went from somewhat lower and then higher. I’m 18 weeks but have only had one ultrasound when I was a little over 8 weeks. Maybe the baby just had a sudden spurt of movement which made the heart rate go up? I don’t feel like I’m carrying two lol 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️
