Any tips on using zip ties?

Me and my boyfriend are starting to expirement more in bed... Any tips on how to use zip ties or anything else?

I wouldn’t recommend sip ties or anything that slips in place. They get too tight way too easily and I’ve heard some horror stories about people who got blood clots in their hands from it. If you decide to do it make sure to have bondage scissors handy (NOT regular scissors) they’re different in that they have a broader base so they’re safer to use near your skin. Generally don’t use home made bondage gear (unless it’s rope) it’s just not as safe as the stuff in stores. Get some cuffs or some rope instead. It’s safer to use and easier to get off after play.

They can be used to tie your hands/feet to the bed or to tie them together. Honestly the sky is the limit, but just make sure that you have scissors very very close nearby. Remind yourselves of your safeword, and if someone uses it, cut the zip ties off immediately.

Those are distinctly unsafe because they slip into place and are rigid, which is a terrible combination for your circulation. I would probably spring for actual toys or mind play.
