So my little girl was diagnosed with valley fever about a week after her seventh birthday. The doctors say she is too young to get meds and it hasn’t spread from her lungs. She has to get bloodwork done every 6 weeks for the next year and go from there. However she has a spot on her lung that isn’t going away and constantly has a cough. Doctors are treating me like I’m crazy for being so worried (even though she has gotten pneumonia twice) and I don’t know anyone who has had a child with valley fever. So I was just looking for parents who are going through the same thing or similar because I feel so alone in it.
