Midwife vs OB dr?

Has anyone had both? Or one and like it versus the other? I had a doctor my first time around but I’m looking into a midwife my second time!

Had a midwife my first pregnancy and now with an OB because my midwife left the area. I LOVE both. However with anyone you need to find the right fit. My OB feels like a midwife in that she’s very pro whatever I want.

I’ve been seeing midwives for over 10 yrs. I absolutely love them. They’ve helped me through 2 losses and conceiving my daughter. I never leave appts feeling confused or rushed. I feel like they genuinely care about me and my family. Of course this is just my experience, I’m sure there are some lovely obgyns as well 💕
