c-section sex after 4 days?

so i had a c-section four days ago and this afternoon things just kind of happened and i ended up having sex. it didn’t hurt at all, everything feels and looks the same. should i be okay? i understand it’s very dangerous and risky but it happened and i feel terrible about letting it happen. please no rude/negative comments.

You can definitely get an infection that’s one of the reason they want you to wait the time and get clearance from them.  4 days though?  Who wants to have sex after just giving birth?

You have a huge open wound where your placenta was, not to mention the uterine incision inside of you.
You are at risk for infection and internal hemorrhage (which can kill you).
You need to speak with your OB ASAP so they can keep an eye on you, they may even start you on antibiotics preemptively.
Not to mention how incredibly fertile you are after giving birth, and having a pregnancy that soon after a C-section puts you at severe risk.

Oh my goodness girl, your uterus is a huge open wound after giving birth. This is why you should not have sex for 6 weeks so you can be cleared as soon as everything has healed. Not smart, please be careful ♥️

Its really going to be a watch and see type thing. You have a large wound inside your uterus where your placenta was, and a large wound in your incision. Sex exposes both to a ton of bacteria. Most likely you will be fine, but watch for signs of infection
