Babies and colds??

Hello! My son is almost 5 months old, but seems to get a cold every 4 weeks! Is this normal? Also, whenever he does have a cold he doesn’t have much milk at all. He normally takes 4/5 bottles a day up to 240ml! He’s fairly light for his age and is running along the 2nd percentile so concerns me that he only takes about 100ml max of milk every 8 hours or so when he’s feeling poorly! Any help would be appreciated!

Hiya, do you have a humidifier/diffuser you can put a few drops of olbas oil and lavender oil in there. It would help clear his chest and nose as well as help him sleep. That might make him feel better enough to feed more. You can also get a vapor plug made by calpol that does the same thing. The only problem is that  the refills are quite expensive whereas the bottles of oil are quite cheap and last longer. If you can't do that try taking him into the shower with you. The steam can help unbung them.
