Halo V.S the Snoo bassinet and why?

I currently have the Halo, and while my baby isn’t sleeping terribly she’s not in love w the bassinet. She’s 3 weeks today. I’m a FTM.

Snoo is ridiculously expensive. At only 3 weeks old your baby is still getting the hang of things. Work on making a bed time routine and she will get there. It just takes time.

I would highly suggest not spending money on the snoo when you’ll use it for a couple months. How do you know your baby isn’t fond of the bassinet?

Okay we have the snoo and it’s one of the only recommendations my husband gives to other parents. I understand it’s expensive but you can get it for like 30% off several times a year (that’s what we did). My little one was sleeping through the night at like 5 weeks and before then I was walker her up to feed. Not the other way around. It’s been a life saver.

I have the halo and my son didn’t sleep in it until he was 8 weeks. He just liked being close to me, as I’m sure your little one likes being close to you at this time. 
My husband wanted the snoo, and I talked him out of it because it just wasn’t worth the money to me. The halo swivels, so if you feel like your baby needs a rocking motion, you can swivel it. 
We moved my son to his crib at 6 months, not because he was too big, just that I think he could smell me and that’s why he kept waking up. Hope that was helpful 😁

Buying a 1000+ bassinet won’t make your newborn magically sleep perfect. Give yourself time
