Anyone else live in a high priced area? I started my state job 6 years ago and my raises are not even worth it but the benefits are better than anywhere else so I can’t leave. I’m gonna be bartending part time again just because we need the extra money to afford things after we pay our rent. Everything I look at is more than I pay now unless we move way out in the country and it’s not worth driving longer to work or moving my sons school! So frustrated. I wish I could cut out the daycare bill somehow but not possible 😢
