Has anyone here tried the pill

Club? I've been in a relationship for two years now and I'm scared to try the pill because of the negative experiences my friends have had with the pill. I've never taken anything that messes with your hormones so I'm afraid of how my body will react. I'm also underweight so I heard that you can get one specifically with weight gain to help with that.
