Baby Food Maker?

My daughter is 4 months and I’m starting to look into what I’ll need to do to make her baby food. Is a baby food maker really necessary?  If so, which do you recommend?

I had a Baby Bullet for my first, but it’s not exactly ideal for making large batches. I bought a NutriBullet for adult smoothies and now I use that. It’s basically the same thing as the baby version only bigger. However, you can use a food processor too.

I used one, I want to know what my baby is eating. So I bought organic products and made my own baby food. I'd start after 6 months though.

A food processor or blender work fine. I was gifted with the beaba babycook, and I’m not going to lie to you, it’s pretty freaking amazing. My kid is 4 now and I still use it. My husband works at dinner time, so I can easily steam a potato and veggies in it, and it’s the perfect amount for the 2 of us. But it’s definitely a luxury item and you can make plenty of wonderful baby food without one.

I used my regular Ninja that we’ve had for years and a little steamer I won at a basket party from Pampered Chef. Baby blenders and streamers are just marketing. If you have either of those no matter the brand, you’ll be fine. Heck, even boiling works in some cases.
