I went for my first fertility appointment today! After 6 years of trying, I finally see a light at the end of this tunnel!

So far, I had 9 tubes of blood taken today to check for everything from cholesterol and glucose levels to hormones and egg reserve. One I hear back from the doc tomorrow regarding my results, I’m going to start taking metformin again (bleck), a prenatal, and progesterone to induce a period.

Once my new cycle starts, I will have an ultrasound sound within the first 7 days to get an egg count then between the 7th and 10th day of my cycle, and HSG test done to check my tubes. Then hubs will have to go have a semen analysis.

Once all of this is done, then we can talk about next steps. This should all go down within the next 6-8 weeks! I am sooo excited and nervous!
