Today I got a Tdap shot -routine- and a steroid injection for baby’s lungs because she is measuring super tiny- 5th percentile. Steroid is to help her lungs in case she has to come early. Fun times… any way. Has anyone had either of these and did they affect your glucose levels?? Or know anything on the topic. My sugar has been well managed by diet. I’m 32+1. I just checked after dinner which was sausage and green beans- not a big deal for me, a few sweet potato fries- try to keep that in check, and 2 bites of my husband’s bday cake. I would expect a dinner like that to put it around 110-115. IT WAS 170! y’all. I find out today my baby is super tiny. And now my sugar is through the roof which has NOT happened before. (I “tested” my diet once and it was only 135) my “research” is showing that there may be some connection with the steroid and the higher levels but wouldn’t they warn me?!?! If anyone knows anything on this please share. I’m just freaking out over here.
