Would you change your completely change your lifestyle to stay home with your kids?

My husband was offered his dream job in Washington DC. We currently live in Florida. If we move I can stay home with our 2 girls until they go to Kindergarten. We would be moving away from all of our family. They all live within 20 minutes of us right now. My dad lives with us and is retiring so he would come with us. We would downsize from a 5 bedroom home to a 3 bedroom condo to make up for my salary. Would you move?

Yess I’d do it. Quit my job and life to be with hubby in China for a dream job. I’m a sahm and feel so blessed for the opportunity and experience.

Yes, I’m that situation, I personally would move. I’m not sure if my husband would lol but if he wanted it, we probably would. Good luck!

A dream job is a different story. Yes, we would change for that, but to stay status quo it wouldn’t be worth it. We would rather have money to do things than me stay at home. However, I’m a teacher so I get a lot of time with the kids.
