Why is the baby not in shape at miscarriage?

This is the one I got after my miscarriage started and why is the baby not in shape? The baby was measuring 8.5 weeks..and I started bleeding at 11 weeks..The doc said baby stopped growing after 8.5weeks and no heart beat..

I'm so sorry. After the baby stopped growing it will begin to break down slowely and decompose. It can takes weeks for your body to expell everything. I went through this three times, I'm so sorry.

The mc was b/c the baby stopped growing and forming at 8 wks but it took your body a few weeks (3 more if you mc'd at 11) to recognize it was no longer carrying a viable pregnancy.
