Ummm no.....your baby isn’t purposely crying for shits and giggles. Cater and comfort your baby instead of potentially making your baby cry even more

No. Your baby doesn't have wants yet, only needs. Your baby isn't crying just to be a jerk and doesn't understand why she's being yelled at or what that means. Yelling and shouting at them really isn't okay at any age. I've never even shouted at my 2.5 year old (other than the occasional surprised OMG NO if he is doing something dangerous. But never yelled at him in anger.)

Is this a real question?? Your child is an infant! Even if they’re crying for simply your attention/affection you don’t raise your voice at a baby! Sure it can be frustrating but they NEED something from you. Give em some love. Take a minute to yourself, sure. But yelling/discipline in anyway at this age is inappropriate

It depends on what you mean. If you mean “shout to” like you’re in another room and baby cries and you yell “it’s okay, mommy is coming” or something like that then I don’t think it’s bad, although baby doesn’t have a clue what you mean and it likely won’t console them until you get there. But if you mean “shout at” like you’re mad that your baby needs you or you’re trying to punish them for crying then absolutely not.

I do it too, if I’m doing washing or something I’ll shout “mummy is coming you’re okay” she goes quiet for like 2 seconds then cries again 😂 so unless I constantly yell or sing it doesn’t really work
