Ricks new thing where he showcases books with different mythologies has so far been pretty good! As far as I know he’s covered Indian and Mayan stories, which don’t quite as often get told :) 
American gods by Neil Gaiman could also be a good one to check out!

I don’t know if you’re a big fan of graphic novels, but there’s a really good graphic novel series called Olympians, which surprise surprise is about the Greek gods and goddesses. Each book focuses on a different Olympian and the main myths of that person, and the art is just incredible, recommend checking it out. It’s what got me into Percy Jackson
