Piercing hell & pregnant?!

Question

Someone please help, I’ve had this piercing for like 4/5 months now and I’ve never had a problem, it felt a little tender last night, but tonight it’s absolutely throbbing. I’ve developed some kind of lump on it & im terrified its infected and if I don’t get it sorted it will harm my baby (I’m almost 7 weeks) 😩 any advice I would be grateful! Thank you!

Its called a keloid bump and I got them when I got my nose pierced get or make a saline solution and it will help. Good luck

If you're concerned about infection, DO NOT take it out! That will make it worse. Go to your piercer and have them look at it. They'll be able to look closer and identify the issue, and give you the solution.

Yeah, if possible, soak it in warm salt water for 5 minutes 2-3 times per day. I had it with my nose at some point. It went away and never came back!

It’s a keloid scar 
It’s probably harmless and may even go away on its own 
My sister had one when she got her nose pierced and it went away

I literally lost my industrial piercing a week ago because I developed a keloid (the same thing in your piercing) 😭😭
Had it for over a year and no issues then BAM, suddenly pain, swelling and a keloid. I tended to it for a couple weeks but it was concerning how it wouldn't heal so I took it out😭😭😭
I hope you can save your piercing.
I plan to have mine redone post baby, but I did learn pregnant women are more susceptible to keloids, so thats something to think about in the future 😊

I got allergic reactions to my tattoo when I was pregnant. The ink became raised and scabby like it was brand new (even though I had it done 5 years ago)

I have this piercing and dealt with this lump for months. It was literal hell I almost took out the piercing. I don’t know if it can be harmful while pregnant as I didn’t have mine while pregnant but here are some of the things I did to help get rid of it!
You can buy a salt water solution at Walmart however I found that the solution they give you whenever you first get your ears pierced regularly, the alcohol solution, helped so much. Instead of using the salt water solution you can buy I made my own at home with table salt and warm water and I would dip a cotton ball cut up to fit in there and then leave it overnight. 
Also don’t touch it as much as possible and especially if you haven’t cleaned your hands. I know it also is hard not to play with the piercing but move it as little as possible because it can pop the bubble!

White vinegar will heal keloids, it forces the skin to heal just dip it with a q tip and clean It twice a day. Dont take out the piercing barbell otherwise it will close up.. unless that's what you want but my family has always used that!

I, unfortunately, become intolerant to all my piercings while pregnant and have to remove them.  I’d see a professional piercer and figure out if there is anything you can do to save it.  Maybe switching to a 24k gold ring (I reject that less).  Do NOT take it out if you suspect an infection though!
