Not only do I think it's possible, I think an element of independence is necessary in a healthy, committed relationship.

It’s a very healthy sign of a relationship. The 2 people that are in a committed relationship still have their own lives and things going on for themselves. I had to learn this myself and i had to make sure i took some time for myself to get things i needed to get done, done. Don’t forget to keep the trust and communication in there as well because that goes along with be able to have independence in the relationship.

Of course. You should never be in a relationship where you don't have Independence. That would be weird.

Its healthy. You still need to be your own person. And thats what makes a relationship a relationship.  Youre your own person and the other person loves you for you.
