Do you guys buy your exes Father Day gifts?

Our son is 3 so obviously he isn’t old enough to buy him anything on his own. But I don’t know if I should or not? My ex and I had a VERY bad start to parenthood, including him being very in and out during my pregnancy and in the first part of his life, to us not talking or having any contact for over a year (including that he didn’t see his son at all, his choice. He ignored and blocked me from reaching out.)

Well a year ago we finally got together, squashed our problems and decided to put it past us for the sake of our little boy. Things are a lot better now, he doesn’t get to see our son a lot due to his busy work schedule. But he sees him when he can and gives me money when he can and whenever I need it. He’s come very far from who he used to be. But I just don’t know if I should get him a gift? He didn’t get me one but he did tell me Happy Mother’s Day and his girlfriend got me a gift. Which I wasn’t bothered that he didn’t get me gift, I wouldn’t expect anything from him anyways, ya know?😂 Would it make me a bad person if I didn’t get him one? Of course I’m going to call or text him and tell him Happy Fathers Day but I’m just not sure about the gift thing. I wasn’t going to worry about that at all until my son was old enough to start wanting to get him a gift.
