Mother is angry our babies are so close in age?!?

So we recently told my parents we’re expecting again, while my dad was overjoyed, my mother literally told me I’m selfish for having my babies so close in age and that she feels she has failed as a mother because I’m only 24 years old. Mind you we have our own home, both have our own cars, both work and have never asked them for help. She even went as far as saying we shouldn’t tell people or post on social media about it because she’s hurt?!? I just don’t know how to explain to her that all children should be celebrated and that we want them close in age. I tried telling her the last thing I’m doing is ruining my life, before I had my first I didn’t care much about life, didn’t really have a reason to keep pushing forward, but now I cannot imagine being anywhere but with my baby boy and I can’t picture my life without him, he truly saved my life. Anyone have ANY helpful words I could share with her or even kind words to let me know it’s all gonna be okay?
