Have y’all decided on a bassinet yet?

FTM here and I’ve been looking at the crazy world of bassinets. I’m interested in the Halo Swivel and possibly renting/buying the SNOO. My best friend swears by the pack and play with attached bassinet but her baby just turned three months and already weighs 17 pounds. The max weight on those is 15 pounds. I know the SNOO is ridiculous but I’m mostly interested in it for the safety of keeping my baby on its’ back. Idk...again I’m a FTM it’s a little overwhelming.

Pack and play all the way. It’s so much cheaper and they’ll use it for years. Once they outgrow the bassinet attachment, there is still an elevated attachment that’s the same size at the whole pack and play that you can use until they’re rolling, at which point they would have outgrown an bassinet and need to be moved to the lower level or crib regardless.

Totally just starting with a pack n play since it’s a much cheaper option and I’ll continue to use the pack n play itself long after. If there’s problems and it doesn’t work for us we’ll look at the more expensive options at that point!

Pack n play ... you'll get so much more use. Bassinet was a waste of money for me.  He got about 2/3 weeks before he outgrew it

Snoo is so expensive for something you’ll use for such a short period of time.. definitely doesn’t seem worth it of all the baby items you’ll need or want the bassinet is used the least amount of time before they out grow it

I bought the halo premiere for beside my bed, and considering a pack and play for the living room. Haven’t decided yet though

We have a small one bedroom apt & there is no space for a bassinnet in our bedroom & baby will sleep with us until...who knows lol Ill probably go for an adjustable crib with multiple mattress heights that would function as bassinet.

I just got a $40 bassinet off Amazon with wheels so I could make sure they were in whatever room I was in at all times

I’m going to try the halo too so I won’t have to bend as much after csection. Had a pack and play and my other kid never even used it
