Have u had a yeast infection while pregnant?

The DR. told me they are very common during pregnancy and they are the hardest to get rid of while pregnant! 😭 
What are some tips to prevent a yeast infection? Or to get rid of them? 
She told me to do Monistat 7. I wasn’t itchy before I started this now I’m itchy I think it’s irritating me.

They wrote me a scripts for Diflucan for all three of my pregnancies.

It is common. My doctor prescribed me something for it though. I actually read that a lot of women feel worse using Monistat. I guess it’s common. I don’t know why it makes people feel that way though. 
Don’t wear tight pants, wear 100% cotton underwear, stay dry, don’t use any soap down there. All the usual stuff.

Try Azo yeast pills. You take 3 per day and they are OTC. I like them best for yeasties.

My ob gave me a prescription for some medicine instead of having to use over the counter stuff.

I had one at 35 weeks. I went to urgent care on a Saturday because it was bothering me so much. The PA told me to get Monistat, which I had never used before. Turns out, I’m allergic to it or something because it was so much worse when I used it. The following Monday I had an appt with my midwife. She gave me the single dose pill and I was fine within 24 hours.
