How often do you feel your baby move?

How often do you feel your baby move and kick? And how far along are you? I feel my baby move every few hours when I’m awake and the moving lasts for anywhere from a few mins to 20 min. When I kick count in these times the baby gets 10 kicks in around 3 min. But then I have hours where I feel little or no movement. I’m 21 weeks. Is this normal? I feel like she’s very active when active but then also very still when she is sleeping I assume.

Your to early to be doing kick counts. Baby still has a lot of room to grow and are still small so your not going to feel consistent kicks yet.

You don’t need to start kick counts until much much further along. I’ll be 23 weeks tomorrow and I feel him here and there. Sometimes it’s just once and other times it’s a whole bunch in a row.

It’s the same with me too but it’s very normal. The more you’re up moving in active the less you’re going to feel the baby because you’re distracted but also the movement rocks the baby to sleep. Your baby is most active when you’re still, laying down or sleeping. I was just talking to my doctor about the Saturday. Plus she also said the baby is not that strong yet. I am just about the same as you I’m 22 weeks on Tuesday.. because the babies not that strong and not necessarily that big yet they tell you not to do a kick count until 28 weeks
