As Father’s Day approaches I can’t help but find myself feeling a little petty..

My little girls dad and I aren’t together and haven’t been since she’s been very small but every year I go out of my way to make sure he gets a gift from her and make sure he knows he’s appreciated. Well this year as I was doing this gift it hit me, he’s never even got me as little as a card from our daughter or took the time to wish my happy Mother’s Day, as he has for his sons mother (buys her nail gift certs every year for Mother’s Day, and no they aren’t together)

I’m actually incredibly hurt by this and don’t even want to send her gift this evening, I just needed to vent for a second 😫
