I haven't had an ultrasound since 23 weeks?

Is this normal? I wont have another until 34 weeks. I keep seeing all of these other ultrasounds so in just confused if this is the norm or not

Normal. Most OBs won’t even do a growth scan after the anatomy scan unless there is a cause for concern (like the mom not gaining enough/too much weight, fundal height too big or too small, etc)

Many of the 3D ultrasounds posted are elective and paid out of pocket.

Yeah it is. I just have more because he only has one artery in is umbilical cord instead of 2. Most ppl only get the anatomy scan then one more growth scan. I have to go once a month to birth to make sure he’s not small

I haven’t had a ultrasound since 17 at my anatomy scan. Had one at 28 just for her to measure amniotic fluid cause I had a l&d scare. But that was it

My OB doesn't give US after the anatomy scan, I'm seeing a Perinatologist and have an US every week.

My doctor doesn't do another ultrasound after the anatomy scan (18-20 weeks) unless a women goes over their due date. You can always go get a private scan done if you want, I did at 30 weeks.

Last US was at 20 weeks and I won’t have any other to the birth! In Quebec it is mostly like this
