Beauty Gurus: is skincare and make up safe during pregnancy?

I’m just trying to do research on precautions to take when pregnant. 
Are our everyday skincare products and makeup safe to use when you’re pregnant?

Why wouldn’t make up be safe.. it’s just going on the skin. Skin care is fine too. But you have to watch out to the new sensitivity your skin will have. Nothing is going into the blood. You’re not eating it...

Makeup is all fine. 
For Skincare, docs say to stop using retinols, salicylic acid, and other strong acids. 
Check with your doctor to be 100% sure though.

Makeup can be dangerous, yes it goes on skin but it can seep through the skin and enter the blood stream. Skincare is a bit more complicated but you can google the different ones you can and cannot use. Anything going on your body is going to into your body.

Yes. But not all beauty products are created equal. Check your products on ewg.org to find out how much crap is in them. 1-2 is an ideal score.
