different brand of birth control

so I finished three months of my pills on aviane, and i went to pick up my refill today and they gave me mylan which is a completely different brand. i’m so confused... if I started on this new brand next month would i still be protected from pregnancy? also should I worry about it affecting me differently? I don’t know why they gave me a new brand.
