So my friend texts me Saturday to ask if she might be pregnant...she said she uses the Jaydess IUD. I asked her if she checks placement and she didn't know what I was talking about (no teaching came with Insertion). She then checked and said the strings are there.

So...I don't know much about IUDs...except what I looked up...this one is 99.4% effective....so my question is....has anyone else found out they were pregnant on it?

And yes...she tested on a clear blue digital and the other clear blue non digital and both were positive. She was super worried about an ectopic or miscarriage cause she was having brown spotting and slight cramping. I figured one would have to test HCG levels for ectopic.

She saw her doc today...and they were perplexed and didn't do a blood test!!! I'm perplexed about that!

I'm posting because I am trying to reassure her either way...but I can't say I have a ton of experience with IUDs!
