Dandruff and How to treat it correctly?

I’m 13, and have realised that I’m getting a small amount of dandruff. It’s no itchy or anything just looks a bit unpleasant. I’ve been using anti dandruff shampoo over the past few weeks (once a week) but have found it’s making no difference and is coming in worse the more I use it.
What could I do to get rid of it?

I used to get dandruff all the time! What I did to stop it is use shampoo on the roots of my hair and massaging it in. Then use conditioner ONLY on the ends of my hair and avoid the roots completely. I found this prevents dandruff for me and I hope it does for you ❤

I use tea tree oil. Not sure if it will work for everyone but for me it has helped a lot. I also use Nioxon, a dandruff shampoo, which you can buy at like Walmart. It’s a little bit pricey but it’s worked for me. I just add 5 drops to the shampoo in my hand and then wash my hair.

Try a different kind of shampoo, even use a hair mask, thatll help so much, it all kind of depends on how often you shower how much shampoo you use, etc.
