Joint spouse assignment?

Has anybody applied for joint base assignment? How long did it take to get it approved? Did you wait the 6 months to move close to your spouse ? Anybody different branches that have done this ?

Husband and I are both Air Force and I received my orders notification a week after I submitted. And moved two weeks later after I got early released from my CC!

I’m joint spouse right now af and army, it took me 3 weeks to get orders. So far it’s been nice, we applied for stability so we can stay here longer

My husband’s friends got approved right away. They were in South Korea. She left a month earlier than him because of their assignments and the duration. He joined her right away. They are in the army
