Throwing away birthcontrol

So i started birth control monday n my bf said that since ive started it ive been getting mad more n crying more which i kinda have noticed ive been more moody n he wants to throw away my birth control lol can the pills make u like that n also if it is, is there any other birthcontrol that doesnt make u like that.?
