Contractions?

I’m curious as to what they feel like. Could someone describe? Like is it sharp stabbing pains, or like strong period cramps? FTM and just would like to know what to expect.... my anxiety has been thru the roof and I think it’s just because I have no idea what to expect for pain and I’m waiting for it to be the worst thing I’ve ever felt or something.

They’re going to be different for everyone. I didn’t find them all that painful personally just like so much pressure like my abdomen and back were being squeezed by a giant invisible fist. It was intense and it came in “waves” but it honestly wasn’t painful for me.

Mine were like my Braxton Hicks and then the closer I got to delivery added menstrual cramps and pressure

Painful cramps that travels through your back and butt at the same time. Pain that you won’t be able to talk or move barely can breathe through them
