Prenatal vitamins while breastfeeding?

It’s probably a stupid question. But is it safe to take prenatal vitamins while breastfeeding? My son is 9 months old and my husband and I are going to start trying for our 2nd baby. My son has an appointment with his pediatrician tomorrow so I will be asking her as well.

My lactation consultant and obgyn told me to continue taking them as long as I was breastfeeding

Yeah! I was under the impression to continue taking then while breastfeeding to make sure your getting everything you need to feed baby :)
