My husband and I absolutely would. One of his friends just lost his apartment due to some bull with his mom's ex-wife. As soon as he told us we offered our couch to him without hesitation. We didn't even discuss it, just automatically told him to move in. The friend's girlfriend actually let him move in but we gave him $500 to help him move his things. I've also never met the guy in person before, just heard stories and talked over PlayStation.
