CAUTION TMI

Does this sound normal?

I am 1wk 5days PP... earlier this week I noticed my bleeding was starting to lighten up & it was getting dark brown with not as much every time. Well fast forward to 2 days ago it started getting pretty heavy again. There’s a lot more coming out & it is much brighter than before. I’ve noticed some long gooey strings of blood & what looks like some small blood clots. I’m having a sharp pain on my sides really randomly through out the day. Does postpartum bleeding fluctuate like that normally?
