My birth story

Amanda

Well to start off my daughter had IUGR and wasn't due till June 15th and was trying to come since 27 weeks so I was in Dr 3 times a week to watch her close well on the 20th at 36 weeks 3 days I went in to my regular appointment and my Dr with in 5 mins sent me to hospital said I had to be induced that her body was in Alot of stress so we went in and started the iv and pitocin well at 5am on the 21st he heart rate kept dropping we got it stable and kept trying for natural birth then around 1:00pm or so that's when it really dropped and I was prepped and rushed to or to deliver my lil girl not knowing what the outcome will be if she was going to NICU or not but at 1:44 pm my beautiful 4lb 7oz baby came into the world crying and so damn healthly she never had to even step foot in NICU when I say I know I'm lucky trust me I mean it I hear so may stories of the same issues and weight and they had NICU but my lil bean stayed with me and came home when I did she is now 4 weeks old and thriving we started off breastfeeding but she wasn't gaining any weight so we made the switch hardest thing I had to do mentally that was that last thing I wanted but when my birth plan got taken away I was crushed then breastfeeding was a bust I thought I would truly feel defeated and I did at first but watching her gain and be healthy out weighed it all as I lay here with my 2 year old on one side of me and her in her swing I couldn't feel more blessed so many miscarriages and heart break and then these kids wasn't to make it past 20 weeks and here both of my healthly children laying here with me when I say hold on lady's your time will come it will I promise and when I say always follow your gut and fight for the best care don't let a Dr define if your baby will live or not only God has the right to make that choice and I believe every miscarriage and tear brought me to be a stronger mom for my two babies sorry so long and not typing properly but I have my hands full 🤗💪👩‍👧‍👦👣 God bless Everyone 🙏
