Clomid IUI or IVF..?

Question

My husband and I suffer with both female and male factor infertility. I have stage 4 endometriosis and my husband has low sperm, morphology, and motility. We have been trying for about a year and 8 months now, and just failed my first round of clomid.. i feel like I’m waisting my time on clomid and our next step is IUI... has anyone had a similar situation and has success with either clomid or IUI? I feel like we should just skip to IVF considering our circumstances..

If it were me I would push to skip the Clomid cycles and move to IUI or IVF. Before making the decision on IUI or IVF I would want to have a discussion with my RE about my realistic odds of pregnancy with IUI and with IVF. If the odds were relatively close I would try IUIs first. If IVF gave me dramatically improved odds I would probably skip the IUIs and save the money for IVF. 
My husband and I didn't have MFI working against us also. Our problem was infertility caused by recurrent pregnancy loss. There were some issues that flagged during test with me that could be responsible for the RPL. My RE was really straightforward with us about how Clomid was worth a try for a couple of cycles, not many, and then after that we needed to go straight to IVF because IUIs would be useless. It stung to hear that but I appreciate him not wasting our time and money with IUIs that wouldn't work.
So yeah whether or not IUIs are worth doing just matters so much on the specifics of your situation and is definitely a conversation to have with your doctor.

IUI doesn't actually increase your chances that much per cycle. It's more drastic over time which is a common misconception. 
Being that you both have issues I'd push for IVF. It just makes more sense both cost and efficiency wise. Definitely do ICSI.

I did a clomid IUI (i ovulate regularly also), worked first cycle. FSH and AMH #s were awful and I’m 32. Low egg count. Husband was fine. They tried to push me to ivf and I requested an IUI. They said oh its prob 10-15% chance, i said cool lets do it. And I’m 36 wks now! Its non invasive and quick. Id do it
