Info about training for jobs

This is from my last post about putting 2 weeks notice. I want to clarify that it was on me that I should have asked where the schedule was. However as this commenter explains they are supposed to show you where the schedule is posted. Also she wrote in another comment how while you’re in training you aren’t even on the schedule. I didn’t think that I was because they called and said “can you work Tuesday?” And then never told me I was posted on the schedule or anything. Me saying it was my first job is a genuine excuse. I don’t know how everything works and they know that. It’s not like I’m new to that job specifically. I told them I volunteered somewhere. Meaning I had a little experience with using a cash register but not with a schedule because it was volunteer and you go when you want. I’ve applied for 1 job near me so far. It’s the grocery store we get our groceries from. I’m gonna apply for others but as soon as I get an interview and get hired I am putting my 2 weeks in. The way the manager spoke to me was rude and was like I’m a child. I realize I am young but it was my first job and I’m going to be unsure about a lot of things. They had poor management and lack of communication. They let me go 6 shifts before calling me?? She also said when I didn’t show up on Sunday that they called me. Wrong

I called them twice. No answer. Left a message yesterday. I realize I didn’t call but I thought they were going to call me.

And I did ask a lot of questions. But that was something they were supposed to tell me.
