Going to a wedding, what to do with my baby?

Hi! I’m going to a wedding this Saturday and my baby will only be 14 weeks old. I’m not sure if it’s better to bring him or not, so need some advice from experienced moms here.
The wedding is at 5pm and we need to drive 2 hours to get there. 
If I take him, I worry he will have trouble sleeping during the wedding. He is generally calm but like all babies he needs our help to fall asleep. I could take him out of the reception if he or the venue gets too loud.
If I don’t take him, being with a sitter for around 7-8 hours seems long and my breasts will prob explode from all the breast milk...
Any suggestion here? Thanks in advance!

I would probably bring him.  My babies have always slept well in places like that but could also wear baby if fussy.  If you want to use sitter that would
Prob be fine (freedom!!)- just pump a couple of times

We had a wedding when my little guy was 6 weeks old. We left him with his grandparents and I brought my pump with me. I pumped on the way to the wedding, during the reception and then on the way home. Little man was with his grandparents for maybe 6 hours total and it was great. It was nice to have a night out and we were able to enjoy the wedding without being constantly worried about him doing something.

I was just at a wedding ten days ago and it was four hours away. We slept at the venue, so this made our lives easier as I had a place to nurse and to leave our things. I was a bridesmaid so my husband took care of our daughter in church. He was in the back and had to leave at the very beginning because our daughter started crying. It didn’t disturb the wedding but he missed most of it lol the baby was in her stroller or sling during the cocktail and dinner. It was however super loud and she was frightened with all the music and noise. I wasn’t enjoying myself as she seemed stressed out so I just went to our room after the dinner. Overall is was ok and we are glad we went. I would recommend getting noise canceling headphones. We had bought a pair from amazon but they were super tight and we couldn’t use them

We took our little on to a wedding when she was 10 weeks. We had to drive out of town for 3hrs. The reception was during the evening and she did great! She took all her feedings and naps :) not once did she cry!

I had to be in a wedding when my son was 5 weeks old. We took him with us and he did great! It even poured down rain and was a crazy wedding. I was there with him for like 7 hours. 🤷‍♀️

I have a wedding coming up in September. I intend to bring my son.  My plan is to sit in the back and hightail it out of there if he starts to seem fussy (so I don't interrupt anything). Other than that not much planned, just going to go with it. Do you know anyone else going?  Maybe ask for a litte support beforehand. 
If you decide to go without your child do you have a pump you can bring? 7 hours is going to be a long time. At the very least hand express

I would take him! 
keep near an exit so you can leave if he gets fussy. 
bring a light blanket and nurse him somewhere! 
everyone will love that you brought him, no need to leave him with a sitter for such a long time. just wing it! itll be fine.
